The structural deviation occurs along the spinal column, where biological bone is transmuted into a fluid, geological fissure. Instead of solid vertebrae, the “Engine” has rendered a river of liquid incandescence, blending magma and electricity, that defies the cooling thermodynamics of the surrounding flesh, suggesting the subject is held together by the very heat that threatens to consume them.

The Syncretism
The composition relies on a digital skeletal tracking algorithm to establish the pose’s anatomical accuracy, which is then disrupted by a fluid-dynamics simulation applied to the brushwork.
